Marketing executive

For a marketing executive with 1 or 2 years experience this is a chance to fast-track your career forward by joining a solid well established software company and help them launch a new product. This will be your baby, your plan, your strategy and your incredible learning curve.

This is a new SaaS / cloud based business application and you will craft the entire marketing strategy and messaging for the product.

The company expect to double in size in 2 years so your marketing role will grow with it. that could mean managing a team of marketeers, or working with external agencies. If you are a Marketing professional with software experience with is an amazing job. You will probably a marketing executive, or potentially marketing manager, you will still enjoy being hands on!

You will enjoy technology, be happy using new apps, be an early adopter of new tech, and be an all around curious person. You will have worked on B2B marketing within IT or software or technology.

You will be joining at the start of the new product but with the advantage of a 20 year track record selling software, plenty of existing clients and a very strong Professional Services team. You need to be in the office 3 days a week, working with the sales team, the developers, the MD and the project team.

You will be a confident marketing professional with experience of the software arena and an understanding of the importance of lead generation within the software marketing space. Part of the role will be:

• Field Marketing
• Marketing strategy
• Brand Marketing

You will understand b2b marketing and be confident about making your own decisions.

You will need to be in the Colchester office 3 days each week to work with other teams to build relationships, and to watch the team grow and develop. The marketing role is a lynchpin role in the success of this new solution.
