Sage 300 and AccPac Recruitment
Sage 300 and AccPac Recruitment
Sage has been selling Sage 300 for nearly 20 years; originally developed in South Africa and sold as AccPac, the product has always been very strong on the finance side, plus it has superb CRM functionality. In fact, the Sage CRM product was originally the AccPac CRM module which later became Sage MME and is now Sage CRM for Sage 200, Sage ERP X3 and Sage 1000.
In 2016 Sage released a new version of Sage 300 called Sage 300c; this is a cloud version of the Sage 300 product with a brand new look and feel. It means the potential for growth in the Sage 300 market is really quite dramatic. And Consultants with experience of Sage 300 projects are going to be in high demand for the influx of Sage 300c projects.
Sage 300 continues to sell very well. One of the really unusual aspects of the solution is that it has a massive selection of countries that it is localised for, so if you have an office in Dubai, Singapore, Peru and Latvia all you need to do is switch on the functionality for those countries and the Sage 300 solution is set up. Compared to other solutions which might cost £10K to £100K to set up in each country, Sage 300 or AccPac takes almost no time. So for small oil companies, exporters or distributors or shipping companies with lots of small offices it offers an incredible solution at low cost. And of course it can cope with multi-currency and multi-company entities easily.
As well as the amazing localised aspect of Sage 300, it is also a full ERP and CRM solution and many UK based companies use it as their ERP solution because it is robust and scalable and a rock solid ERP system.
Strangely, Sage PLC don’t really promote Sage 300 or AccPac as they focus on Sage ERP X3 and Sage 200, so the marketing budget for it is a fraction of what is available for Sage 200 or Sage X3. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t a great piece of software, with an incredible user base throughout the world.
Advantages of buying Sage 300?
•A massive installed user base all over the world
•Global network of partners
•Global support available
•Good pool of Sage 300 and AccPac skilled consultants
